Default Cathedral window question

I am making a Christmas quilt called Candy Coated Christmas fromThe Quilter Magazine winter 2003, that has 80 cathedral windows. I am having trouble with these, the instructions are not clear to me.The pattern shows to machine stitch, someone said I need to hand stitch, what would be best? Also is there any thing I need to do that makes the windows any easier?

There is a tutorial here on the board for machine stitching cathedral windows. That might help you out. I did a faux cathedral window row and used glue stick to hold the window panes while I stitched around them.

The hand stitched and the machine stitched patterns I have were different. The machine one I had to make one up to understand it then I went oh!! It was a bit confusing

May we see a picture of the quilt or where can I find a copy please. Looked up above information but could not purchase. Love cathedral window faux or real..could it be done using the ten minute block method?

You can machine or hand stitch. I have one project going that is machine stitched and one that is hand stitched for waiting room entertainment. They both look pretty.

I have only ever done them by hand, but have said if I make any more, I will try to do them by machine.

I did mine by hand using Eddie's machine method. His instructions are very clear. Wish I knew about the machine method then. It took me a few years to complete mine.
