Funny, but not. The ER doctor I went to thought I was talking about a saber saw, you know the kind you use on wood!!! Ah men... he maybe be a doctor but he was still a man that thought I didn't know the difference between a saber saw and an electric knife.... or rotary blade...

Great idea for changing blades. I use an empty Eclipse container (my husband likes that gum) and it works great to put used needles in and the round top opens for used blades. (the 60mm are to big to fit but takes the 45mm) I brought a few of the empties to give to my quilting group and they loved them :D

I keep my old blades, needles, and bent pins in a tin then every 8 weeks when I donate blood I bring them to dispose of with the rest of their "sharps".

I remember the first time I picked on up and my ex mother in law was trying to teach me.. I tried a swipe but didn't move my thumb fast enough.. this have a HUGE chunk of skin missing from my thumb! People always ask me what I have a flat thumb!
