I have ordered the Charlotte Angotti pattern "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and am hoping it will be here tomorrow. But in the mean time, my local quilt shop is having a Batik Sale tomorrow and Saturday. I know that it takes 25 fat quarters of the colored material to make a king size, but the sale is for yardage. I was wondering if anyone had the pattern and could tell me if 1/4 yardages would work also or if it had to be fat quarters because of the way it was cut. Thanks everyone for any help. I'm also making it much smaller so I figured I could get away with less fat quarters any way.

You could always buy half a yard of each to be on the safe side!!!

Any left overs will go in your stash!

From a yard of fabric you get 4 fat quarters...
Hope that helps

I found out that you use several different colors so I think I'm just going to go with the 1/4 yard pieces. I think the pattern is for 25 different fat quarters. I can't afford to buy 25 yards! Boy would I like to though! :D

With a half yard you will have some left for your stash.
