It's actually a "Vintage Singer"... not quite 100 years old yet.

You don't need a table to use the machine. It comes with it's own fold-up table, built in! I got one recently too, and named it "Jean", after it's original owner.

There's a ton of info free online to help you keep your machine in tip-top condition. Enjoy!

I'll post some pictures of my singer featherweight as soon as I can. I found in mom's sewing cabinet 4 booklets called Singer Sewing Library last copyright 1930. I'll post pictures once I figure out how.

Yep, I received the machine and it was in the gray box!! Can't wait to get it cleaned up!!

I received the machine on Saturday. It is a model 221 Featherweight made in Elizabeth City, NJ on 04/10/1940!!

It works great, but I plan to take it to the sewing center to get it tuned up anyway. It still have the orginial bulb it in!!
