I played yesterday, with the quickie four patch pattern. Decided not to subcut the purple; I liked the rectangles! SO - I am going to 'practice' on these. Tartan's fan on one, four cornered circles on another, and curls on the third. Except I still am not sure what curls are!! lol

Looking for that app still, too!

thanks so much for the compliments -- the highlight of my day today!!

I love the stitching 1/4" off seam. I just finished a quilt done this way. The back is as beautiful as the front! Yes, you can do lines instead of circles. Personally, I think it's beautiful! Love your quilt!

This is such a huge quilt I decided on red thread and red binding, it turned out lovely. I posted it earlier and asked for some direction , Thank you to all!

oh my goodness gracious!! (did I just show my southern-ness?) I am so proud of you, it is just gorgeous. I am ashamed to admit I have made no progress since my last post. not on my rail fence, not on the mini quilts. I am just stuck. I don't know what to do, and I don't know where to start doing. I am so overwhelmed with my house and my children, and my finances, I haven't sewn in forever. =/ . which of course, makes everything seem worse! ;0)

I will try to use your gorgeous finish as my kick in the pants!!

    ;0))
