    Hi Everyone,

I'd like to know where the best supply and prices are for buying Civil War fabrics. I'm kinda new to this genre and am looking to build my CW stash.

    Thanks in advance,

    Karla :D

I'm not sure about best price, but I purchased some very nice fabrics last summer from Bonnie Blue Quilts and was pleased with the quality, customer service, and shipping time. I seem to recall another shop in Texas but right now the name escapes me. If I think of it I will let you know.

Bonnie Blue is going to stop selling bolt goods and will be selling kits only effective February 1st. All their remaining fabrics are $5 per yard, but there's not much left.

Another great shop is Reproduction Fabrics

One more that has great service and selection is Lone Star House of Quilts

I have to second the reccomendation for Lone Star House of Quilts. I've never purchased online from them, though I'm sure they're great that way, I've just been in the store many times. I can't tell you how much I love that store! Very friendly staff, amazing selection of fabrics and good prices. All summer long they ran a sale of 25% off all fabric of 1/2 yard cut or more. If you get on their email list they send out sale info for online shopping all the time.

I've ordered once from thepatchworkco.com and was happy with my order. They have a really big selection of 30's fabric but have quite a few Civil War repro's as well. Price is average.

This is where I get all my fabrics and they do ship. They aren't cheap but they have the highest quality fabrics.

I like Bonnie Blue. Great sale for us. Sorry to see them scale back their business. Hope it works out.

I often get great prices on 19th century types from fatquartershop.com . Their sale section always has some.

Love Stitchin' Heaven. http://www.stitchinheaven.com/ Nice folks.

I buy from Hancock's of Paducah occasionally. No complaints.

    Also fabric.com.
