I can't find the 'thread' where I was talking about making a memory quilt for my g-g-grandfather... I think it's hiding or something :lol:

Anyway, I was going to post the fabrics I've got for the quilt is why I was looking... some of these say 'Civil War' right on the selvage and others are 'Vintage" and others are the 'Ozark' ones... possibly some aren't exactly Civil War fabrics but they are going to do!


We also got lots of backing fabrics and a whole bolt of batting (40% off) and a bolt of muslin so as soon as that machine/frame gets here, we're ready to go!!

Very pretty! Did you order them on line? I think as long as you arent going for an exact replica, as long as the fabrics have the "Feel" of the era, there is nothing wrong with using them. I think they will be great!!

Love them all! I am collecting them and I saw a few a have I put the blue and berry print in an underground railroad.

I am always amazed with the way people can pick up the right mix of fabric ! These will be great for your vintage Civil War quilt !!
