Putting a quilt together last night, had it layed out on the bed all lined up. Folded parts together (right side together) and took them to the sewing machine and sewed them together. I don't know what I did but I turned them around and when I spread it out on the bed it was #$#@ right. Lesson learned pay more atteention to detail. So tonight I will get out the unsewer and make corrections.

I just did that the day before yesterday! It's always a pain, but no quilter gets away without making friends with a seam ripper :)

I hate when that happens. Good luck tonight.

That is SO frustrating, isn't it? But is just seems to be an everlasting part of the process!

Remember, as much as we HATE to use it - the seam ripper is our friend!

How frustrating. I've done that too. Sigh.

Walking away and going back to it another time does wonders. Although you are unsewing tonight, it will be much easier to do than it would have been last night. {{{hugs}}}

I have to put stickers on every block with its row and position number. Then I check the stickers about a zillion times before I sew them together because I've done it wrong so many times.

Yet another big minus to sewing long rows together, you have to rip out long rows.

I've been there. On some days, it seemed that for every mile of stitching I did, two miles had to be unsewn. My sympathies.
