Does anyone know if there is colorfast ink for your printer? I want to make a quilt label; I tried a sample, heat set it, but it came out in the wash!

There is a chemical you get and use on the fabric that will make the ink stay. I just can't think of the name off the top of my head  Bubble Jet Set ! LOL

The other thing is to buy the fabric that is designed for printing on . I use Electric Quilt, but there is also June Taylor and a few others

You have to use the bubble jet set and rinse.

I just use JoAnns coupons and buy the printer sheets. I get JoAnn's brand or June Taylor, if you use a coupon they are pretty reasonable.

If you are using your own fabric, there cannot be any fabric softener on the fabric

I buy special fabric sheets from the fabric store. Then set the ink with a hot iron.
