Do you use the thread cutter on your machine? I have tried to use mine a few times and its just a pain in the @**. Its in the back and I have to hunt for it. Its faster to grab the scissors. Is it just me? :?

No mine is in the front by the bobbin but it really is useless, quicker just to use the scissors!

Occasionally - I like my threads clipped a bit closer so usually use scissors.

The one on my machine (Kenmore) is on the left hand side and it's great! When you pull your fabric out and towards you, it clips the threads almost right to the fabric.

Mine is on the front of my Brother machine. I love it!

What machine do you have? I have the CS6000I and mine does not work well at all.

My hands automatically go for it to cut the thread. If I am not at my regular machine I reach for it at the same spot and makes me crazy not to find it.

No. Mine, too, is in the back and it's too awkward to reach. It's easier to grab scissors.
