wow!!! seems like a good deal! i ordered the salt and pepper set and three colors...gonna give them a try! will get the snips next time as it seems like i will love this thread. I have a 1630 Bernina so and the mettler is a little linty as well, so cleaning out the lint isnt much of an issue. I have recently been using aurifil and love it, but was looking for something a little more economical. I will probably get many more colors!

Kind of funny - I was on vacation in OR a month or so ago, and I found a shop that had Connecting Threads spools for sale....they wanted 6.99/spool! Yowza.

I love their quilting threads though they are linty. I've used their small cotton spools, large cotton bolts and large polyester spools. The polyester doesn't seem to be as linty. I usually buy 3 of each color so I never run out. When they discontinue a color I'll stock up on it if its a color I know I'll use a lot. Picked up a few of their newest colors with my last shipment of fabrics.

I also use this thread and find it to be fine. I have no problem with it at all and I really like the price, especially when it goes on sale, then I order a lot of it. The free shipping at $50 is also nice.

I have tons of the cotton thread and use it for piecing and for quilting. Since it is cotton, it will lint but a good cleaning after a project takes care of the bobbin area. They do have polyester thread too and when I use up what I have in cotton, I will try it. The price is certainly right AND my machine handles it without issue. (My machine won't run Coats and Clark)

It is my favorite go to thread. Never have had any problems with any of my several machines. Great colors available. They also have a great storage container for threads which holds several spools and not very expensive to purchase.
