Probably the best way to answer that for you, would be to suggest you go to

and read the link "Crumbs, Crumbs, Crumbs"

I have started to make a crumb block... was a little difficult at first, but now I get the hang of it, and it seems to be working along better.

my problem is I do not have a large assortment of crumbs yet... so not much variety...

Need to watch for when someone has them out for PIF or shipping fee only.

I think they are squares made from smallish scraps of quilting fabric. Perhaps there is an "official" size, but I call anything less than 2 inches crumbs in my scrap boxes.

.
Me neither, but I've put out an appeal to friends to keep for me anything they would otherwise put in the bin, and I'm hoping that that will soon give me more variety.

Oh I see, they are basically scrappy quilts made out of tiny pieces of fabric? Right???
Wow, I thought I had alot of patience but I'm not so sure about this one, lol.
My hexagon grandmother's garden, I've been working on for over 2 years but this....hmmmm, I think I'd have to be very bored, lolo..
Thanks Ladies........

And all along I'be been throwing those tiny pieces away....guess I should start saving them. Even if I don't use them I can always give them away. Thanks again! ! !
