My daughter has a friend who has gone through ----. She has been treated for an embolism, and now her mom has colon cancer. There have been other things too numerous to tell. My daughter wants to give her a dammit doll to beat up. Does anyone have directions??? Thanks in advance.

type in Dammit doll in your search bar, and up it comes, it has the pattern and the [it might say the darnit doll] poem that goes with it, i've made several of them, i use felt squares and odds and ends [button, lace,] to decorate them, print off the poem, and tie it around the neck, their great to give out in gatherings and groups. good luck, if you don't find it, email me pm and i'll send you a copy. thelma

Thank you so much. My daughter just asked me tonight and I posted my request after reading the new entries in the forum. I went to my email and you great folks had already sent me what I need. Everyone on this board has valuable info that helps others. Again, thank you.

you can enlarge a pattern of a gingerbread boy. to the size you want, just two basic pieces, use what fabric or felt you have , stuff it and decorate is simple, and get the poem off here, you don't need to make anything too fancy, there's not anything standard about these ., make it your own

I made some on my embroidery machine and then did a blanket stitch around to get the 2 pieces together. Filled them with small poly pellets that I got at Joann's. Sold them at craft shows and one lady called me 6 times to buy another one for her cancer patient friends. Lost all the pictures of them due to a computer crash.
