I put three nails in the wall then hung a curtain rod on them and pined a flannel backed table cloth over the rod. Yes do buy a heavy tablecloth.

I'm using my guest room for sewing. After I saw what was said about hanging something from cup hooks, I was thinking that if I got a flannel sheet and put maybe 4 grommets in the top, I could hang it up...but also put some type of ribbon or binding in a couple of sections so it could be rolled up and tied off like a sleeping bag. Does that sound doable???

That sounds perfect! I have a large wall that is bare where my sewing machine and table are located. Not really wanting to permanently apply anything because it seems I'm continually changing around my craft room trying to find the PERFECT setup. AND I just moved my computer and corner desk in here too! :-o :-o :-o :-o Either I'm at my computer, at my sewing machine, or work table....now they are all in the same room! :D  :D  YEA ME!

ALTHOUGH I did like the idea of putting a large foam piece on the wall (as I have about a dozen of just such pieces in the garage...my husband got them from a jobsite that was throwing them away...but they are big and thick about 4x8 and 2 inches thick) It would be great to just stick a pin in and it would hold easily.

    Decisions....Decisions.....Decisions.....
