For those of you that may be thinking you don't have room for one of these, I nailed a row of little picture hanging nails near the ceiling, and while I'm working on a quilt, I hang the batting from the nails and use it as a design wall. When the top is pieced, I just take the batting down and finish the quilt!

Interesting. I also use batting as my design wall, but I never thought to use it in the quilt that I was piecing at the time.

Good for you, you always put your quilts together in a pleasing way.
I still use my bed or just wing it.

In the middle of putting up my wall, I'm using pins now, but I have the flannel to put up, just haven't done it yet. lol

It is going to be great! You won't be able to figure out how you quilted without it!

I just purchased the same wall hangings. Are you making quilts from them or wall hangings?

I'm making a quilt. I just ordered some fabric of woods. Above picture, On the left hand side of the wall you can see about what it looks like. I've been to Carolina Cotton site at least 10 times today. lol I'm gonna go broke ! Anyone doing scenery needs to check out the grasses, sunsets, lakes, etc.

I love my design wall but have had to put it up for awhile because my 2 cats (age 2) think it is a climbing wall for them. Hopefully when they get a little older they will resist the challenge.

I love my design wall. I just taped batting up. But my one cat loves it too. He has been ripping pieces of my wall down to play with them. He's such a turd, there's a reason his name is meathead lol.
