I bought a piece of felt rolled up at an Estate Sale, when I got home I opened it up to see if anything was wrong with it..nothing so I laid it aside then a week later it hit me Design Wall its about 6' long & WOF perfect for my little sewing room. I paid $2 for it. And Love it! I just tacked it to my wall.

I envy a design wall. Right now I need a wall. Right now all I have is a flannel backed tablecloth pinned on top of two units that my daughter used to have in her room. I wish I had a place for them, then it would give a nice wall. Ugh, maybe one day I'll figure it all out. Too busy sewing though.

What is the blue material you used for your design wall under the flannel, please? Is it insulation? What brand?

Thanks!

1inch thick foam insulation cost for two sheets is about thirty dollars and then flannel stapled on.
