Dizzy Geese have done me in...
I have struggled with this pattern of and on over a few years. Decided to tackle it and get It done.
Finally figured out all of the piecing, and blocks came out ok. Made a smaller layout than originally planned and it’s 55”x55”’ish. I assembled the top today, then took a photo....ahhh. Should have taken the pic prior to stitching! I am NOT unstitching this to fix the 3 stars centers. Time to end this battle! I will use this as a tablecloth on our round table.
I would like to add a scalloped border-a first for me.
Questions..
Should I just add white borders or should I use a narrow colored stop border first?
How wide should my borders be?

Ooh, this is pretty! I love the pattern and am glad you persevered. Gotta say, I don't see what center stars you have to fix. I looked after you pointed it out, and still come up blank.
Agree with others who say a narrow stop border and then a wider border.

I agree, small white sashing followed by a narrow stop border and a slightly larger outer border. It's gorgeous!
