This is my idea, too. But ! that sashing would include 12 more of the little stars that appear in the middle. More work for you, but they would add so much to the picture. Then the stop border and a wider border. Good Luck.

I don't see anything wrong with it, the blocks are gorgeous. Do you mean the ones with the solid centers? I thought with the placement that was a plan. You can be very proud of it.

I think this would add continuity in spacing for the outer blocks. It will be striking.
