Do you like your EQ7?

I have EQ5 but today while I'm looking at the pins on the Grand Illusion Mystery quilt I see this person has a few tutorials on EQ7, I hope it's okay to put the link in here. If it gets deleted try and find her under Beaquilter. http://www.beaquilter.com/p/eq7-tutorials.html

I use EQ7 all the time. The learning curve is not so bad if you follow the manual. I esp. recommend you do the first 4 chapters. Then as you work on new projects do chapters 6 and up. I would save custom quilt settings for last. Also the photo feature is advanced as well. I teach EQ and know that it is a large program. Learn the buttons. Where they are and what they do. That will help you as you work through the program. I don't scan fabric in as I can usually find colors close to my fabric and design from them. EQ is a great place to learn color theory as well as design principles. Have fun. Work on EQ 15 to 20 mins a day and you will master it! Luann
