Hubby's job moved us around the country during our first few years of marriage, so we've lived in a few places. I grew up in Massachusetts - LOVE the fall colors, did not like the taxes.
Kentucky - love the drives in the country, did not like the humidity.
Buffalo, liked being close to Niagara Falls and the snow/did not like the shoveling of said snow.
Indiana - didn't live there long enough to have a like/not like.
Texas - love the wild flowers, definitely do NOT like the heat.

I love everything about Texas. We've been fortunate and travel quite a bit worldwide. Love, love lots of places we have been; but there is no place like Texas (heat and all!).

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico: Loved how it was warm all year round, hated that it was warm all year round.Moved to NYC, loved the activity and availability of everything. Lived in Plattsburgh, NY. Loved the country life relaxed life and great people, hated the extreme cold and lots of snow. Back to NYC, same thing.

Live in southern part of NJ. We have all 4 seasons. I live in a nice suburban area. The schools are great for my kids. We are near relatives and Philadelphia and NYC. Hate the traffic and high taxes.

I was born in Florida, and raised there and south Louisiana. I now live in Minnesota. I HATE WINTER, and unfortunately, up here, that lasts from about October 31 through April 15 (sometimes into May).

Then it's summer, hot and humid (which we do get a lot of)...I LOVE hot and humid. I'm dreaming of retirement when (hopefully) I can get moved back south (or Hawaii, but I think I'm REALLY dreaming on that one LOL!)

So, I both love and hate the weather...oh, and I LOVE the Minnesota Twins :)

I grew up Indiana and I think you would have liked it had you stayed. Only bad part is the snow and ice in the winter. Lived in NC and really liked it. Now in TN and think will stay here...just don't like tornado season.

I live in upstate NY. I love the adirondacks and the beauty surrounding us in this whole state. I love the 4 seasons. NY really is one of the most beautiful states in the country! I both love and hate the snow. I love the first snow of the season and anytime it snows the big fluffy flakes that just drift to the ground. I hate when it just doesnt stop.... :)
What I hate most about NY state is the TAXES. When I can retire I will probably move just because of them! then I can just come back to visit!!

Hmm never really thought much about this one. I lived in Alaska when I was active duty military, miss Alaska! But grew up in Wyoming and currently live here. What is great is the large vast country, we have flat areas and mountains. A smaller population, which is very nice. You can take long drives without seeing a town for a bit just beautiful countryside and ranches. But... here in Casper the wind blows a lot, and not just those light breezes, it can gust up to 70mph. but hey we all have the same hairdos! hehehehe
