My Janome is named Darla because she is a darling. My grandmother's 1970's Montgomery Ward is named Talulah because that's what popped in my head when I got her. My 1940s treadle is Bess because she looks like a Bess.

    I've done that too!

Mine do have names when they behave..
My Ellegante is Elle because she's an elle-gante
My 4000D is Isabella because she's a innovis (don't ask my how I came up with this name.. must've been on some cold medicine)
My 301 is Lucille after my Grandma who showed me alot about sewing, crochet, cross stitch, knitting and everything else in between.

My Bernina is either "Baby Bernina" or "Ms. B", depending on how she's behaving, like an angel or a b----! lol
My Kenmore would probably call herself "Ms. Lonely", since I don't use her very often anymore.

The only name I call my sewing machine is "Stupid Machine" and that is when it is not sewing properly, the thread or needles break. I'm sure you get the idea!

My older Walmart purchased, Brother machine is Patsy and my new Brother from the private sewing store is Pearl. She is a 'Pearl of great price", and great fun!
