Default Don't like quilt top ..what to do with it

I made a quilt top not long ago & do not like it at all. I also made a couple mistakes on cut placements. I don't want to take the time to layer & quilt it. I am on a very limited income so putting the money into it is not something I can really afford to do.
What do you ladies suggest?

you could give it away, you could donate it, you could put it away for now (sometimes a year or more from now you may pull it out & decide you like it after all- or may know someone then that it would be perfect for) sometimes the quilting winds up (making the quilt) brings a quilt to life-
you could sell it as a quilt top-
you could cut it up & make something else out of it.
how 'bout a picture? with a pic we may have even more ideas...and remember- something you aren't that fond of may be absolutely beautiful to someone else.

If it something you really dont like trade it are swap it for something you can use are might want. I've done it a couple of times on here and got things I could use and the trader got something they could use, works well

I think it's very pretty! BUT if you don't like it then you don't. I'd give it to a friend to finish for a donation if I didn't like it. Perhaps there is a group at a local church that would like to finish it...

I think it's very pretty too. If you really don't like it, what is it that you don't like? If it's the pattern, rather than the fabrics, then you could take it apart and re-purpose the fabric. If it's the fact that you made some mistakes, then you could either fix them or learn to embrace them. The quilt will be just as warm and cuddly with mistakes as without, and somehow more interesting too.

It's not the mistakes that bother me. For some strange reason..I just don't care for it.

If you'd like you can send it to me -- I will long arm it and give it to the charity of your choice.
