thank you for the link, it always good to find a fresh way of thinking about a process. I like this look of the jelly roll race much more than the typical way of doing it.

While I actually do like Jelly Roll Race quilts, I'm always on the hunt for other quick jelly roll patterns. Thanks for this link!

Aaaarrggghhhh! I cannot get the site to pull up, would someone please copy and paste it here or send me an alternate link please. I really like the jelly roll race quilt but feel it needs to be tweaked a little and hopefully this one will fit the bill!

Better looking than the usual way. I just am not crazy about sewing the strips together. I do prefer sewing some appliques onto them.

I really, really dislike the jelly roll race quilts. Everyone makes them because they are easy, but I haven't seen any I have liked much at all. This one is so much better. It is like the strips are floating. Thanks for sharing.

Love the new jelly roll. It will be faster to make disaster quilts(phoenix quilts for the fire victims)

I can't wait to see it! What size does this make? I can't seem to find the size on the pattern (one of my all-time pet peeves... patterns that don't tell you the block sizes or the finished size... argh!).

I'm not that crazy about these in general, but the one shown on the link looks much prettier on the little girl's bed than it did hanging up. Don't think I'd care to make one, as it just isn't interesting enough for me.
