I LOVE this machine, but have not been able to stipple quilt on it. Does anyone have this machine and have you EVER quilted on it? If so, please clue me in on how you prevent it from "grabbing". I had covered the feed dogs, dropped the needle and changed presser foot - Have I forgotten something?
Thanks for your help!

What machine is it? No, I've never used that machine but theres a link on one of the threads here that tells you how to make a really inexpensive quilting surface that's slick using blue foam board and vinyl. I tried to find it and couldn't. That might help though. Are you using a free-motion or darning foot? If not, that might be the problem too. Your quilt may be catching on the plate. I tried to find that video for making the quilting extension and couldn't. With any luck the lady that posted it will see your post and send it to you.

Here's the manual for it....maybe there will be something in there that will help you. You didn't say if you had the manual for it or not.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! No, I did not receive this when I bought it - 'never had a problem with the machine and it cost only $59 at Sears!

I see the picture, and wonder also what type of foot you are using when trying to stipple. If you don't have an embroidery foot, you can try on a scrap with just your needle BUT make sure you put the pressure foot in the down position even though there isn't a foot attached.
