I am beginning the design of my URR quilt using EQ5 and have chosen the corner block border. The question I have is: how do I insert a quilt block into the corner blocks of the border? I have read and re-read the books that came with my software and I have used the help menu in the program but can't find the answer. It is probably an extremely remedial process, but I can't do it!! :?

    Thanks!

sewnsewer2 asked that I post the solution to my design question because she is new to EQ5 also!

First, choose the block you want for the corner blocks from the block library and save it to your sketchbook (or draw your own and save to the sketchbook). Then, choose the corner block border option for your quilt design. Go to layer 1 and click the "set tool" button along the right side of the window.

This will pull open an window that has the blocks from your sketchbook. click the block you want and then click again in the corner block area to set the quilt block in there. You can press "ctrl" as you click on the corner block adn that will place all 4 blocks at the same time. If you want to color the blocks, then click the "eyedropper tool" along the right hand side and then you can color the block!

It was easy once someone pointed it out to me!!

    Enjoy :!: :!:
