    Default EQ5 help needed please

Where is Rhonda when I need her?

I am trying to design a medallion quilt. I have a 24" pieced center block designed, but I think I designed it as a one block quilt and saved it. I have 2 more blocks designed ( 12") that I want to add to center block, but they are saved as a separate project. Is it possible to somehow copy and paste the 12" blocks into the medallion project so I can add them to a "border"? Or do I need to redraw the 12" blocks in the original project? Hope that makes sense! Thank you!

I know I merged two separate projects together into one project files on EQ5 but I can't remember how I did it. You can send Rhonda a PM thru the QB. I am not sure if EQ support will answer your question anymore.

from what i've just read on various support groups, merging separate projects became available only in eq6. are your 12" blocks so complicated that you cannot redraw them in your medallion project? if not, edit your medallion quilt to add a block border and add your 12" blocks there. please let us know how you came out.

When you open each project are your blocks in a sketchbook? Can you then save blocks from your sketchbook into the block library (I do not have EQ5 - so I am working from knowledge of 6 and 7 here)? In the later versions there is a "My Library" where blocks can be copied from the sketchbook and pasted into My Library for use in other projects.
