I agree totally.

Got it for Christmas and slowly learning to use it. It is definitely 4 activations. Then if necessary you can purchase additional for about $40. But I only have it on one and then only thing I might do is put it on my net book, but the screen is small and I don't know if it would be worth it. I think they limit the activations so that folks don't just pass it around and they don't make any money. I can understand that.

Thanks everyone!!

I hate this trying to decide this stuff, especially now. The problem is my son is leaving for college this fall and will be attending Norwich University and wants to do their ROTC Program for the Army. STRESSING!!!! I'm trying to design something and already have purchased some material, but its just not coming together yet and I'm tired of drawing and erasing!!! I guess I feel that this is probably going to be one of the most important quilts that I do in my life and I want it done right for him!!!!

You can download the program but you have to go online to activate it... so that is how they keep up with the amount of activations with EQ6
You can pick up EQ5 on ebay pretty reasonably...you may want to start out with that one, then if you decide you want EQ6 the upgrade is cheaper  than the whole program :D:D:D

I ordered EQ6 on Friday!! Really should not be spending $$ while on unemployement but sold a quilt and have been waiting to order it for almost 6 months. I purchased it for 20% off retail from this lady. She has a web site also. [email protected]
