    Default EQ7 Help

    Hi Guys,

Could anyone out there help me please???? I cannot find a tumbling block in EQ7. I need to find one please.

Also, can anybody help with this one in EQ7.

I have created a quilt that is 4 x 4 12" blocks. Most of the blocks will be 12" patterns, but I want to put 4 x 6" square mini blocks in two of the 12"x12" blocks... can this be done???

Thanks for all your help guys!

    Hugs

    Caroline

I couldn't find one either, but you can create your own block by clicking on the orange icon at the top "work on block", then save it to your sketchbook. There are video tutorials in the "help" section and the website has lots of tutorials as well!

The tumbling block is a quilt layout in the libraries. The second part of your request is design the block you want on the block tab. Then drop in the block you want or use fabric to show the size you need. The size you state is a rectangle inside a square. so you will have off size strips. PM me if you want me to send you 2 files for what you are asking for! Luann

    Hi Guys,

I meant I want to put 4 6" x 6" bear paws in one block.... does this explain it better?

Use the variable block setting when you set up a new quilt.

When I'm stumped about something in EQ I just google whatever it is I'm trying to do. Answer pops up every time.

There is a Bear's Paw block with sashing between the 4 paws in the Blocks Library: 01 Classic Pieced > Classics. This could be dropped in a 12" X 12" block on your quilt. With no sashing, the block would have to be drawn.
