EQ7 refuses to let me open my sketchbook! Help!!!!
#1
I am getting very frustrated. My EQ7 worked fine for a long time... then just recently, I am not able to open my sketchbook when I am editing my blocks or quilts. I cannot color my blocks or quilts with various fabrics because it won't let me open the sketchbook to select fabrics. I also cannot open the sketchbook to place blocks on my quilts. (I can open it when I am just looking at what is in it, but not when I am editing.) I don't know what is wrong. I have returned it to the default settings to no avail.
I don't know where my disk is, so I cannot reinstall it at this point, but I might be spending some time looking for the disk if I cannot figure out what to do to get my sketchbook to open again.
Any suggestions?

Do you have an internet connection when you are using it? I think they validate that you have a legal copy via the internet from time to time although I've heard that if they can't connect, they give you a message.

Thank you for the suggestions.
I got on the forum and posted, as well as contacted technical support. I do have a valid copy, so that shouldn't be an issue. Now I will just have to wait to hear back from them.

No, I didn't think you were.
I got out my manual, just in case they asked me for my validation code when they contacted me back. I am thinking it has something to do with some of the work that was done on my computer when I had to take it in for repairs.
