I'm gonna be making a Single Irish Chain .... (tinkerbell)
Now If the big square in 6 1/2..... What will the 9 patch squares be? I was thinking 2 1/2, but I figured I'd better ask before I started cutting..
Thanks for any help

If you are cutting the big square @ 6 1/2" to finish at 6", then yes you are correct, the small squares should be cut 2 1/2" to lay 3 wide x 3 long & end up @ 6 1/2" as well as the big square. Hope that isn't more confusing. I am trying to say you have it correct.

It sounds like it will be so cute. Good Luck.

Yes, but many show to do it by strips. I can NOT for the life of me do it that way. When I do it the old fashion way they come out just right. That's why I asked dearheart :D
