Which fabric colors do you have plenty? Which colors/shades missing?

When looking for blenders, try some of the Oriental fabric lines. They often have blenders that coordinate with the prints.
I like high contrast quilts too. Black and brights are great - and high contrast two-color quilts.

I have a good variety in my stash, but I am always having to replace the beige, white and lights. I have a lot of paisleys and two color prints. I try to buy the colors I know I need for a project in mind until I have enough to make it.

Fortunately, after over 30 years of buying fabric (good grief!) I have enough fabric of every color in my stash to make many, MANY quilts without having to purchase so much as a fat quarter!!
I also focus on blender prints, value of color, a wide range of white/ecrus/shirting prints on white, and very pale pastels. And I have enough large prints in many themes to create borders, backings, etc. Reckon I'm set!!
I try not to get too wrapped up in fabric shopping these days; there's just no more room or $$$.

I collect neutrals - from white to beige to light gold and anything in between. I especially like the neutrals which have a small print in them. So far I have three large bins of neutral fabric and go there first when I start a new quilt. I also buy red - all tones - when I find one that really speaks to me. Not much in green or yellow.

I don't have any gray. Not that I don't like it; it just seems rare.
I have way too much green, fallout from a green quilt my MIL asked me to make for her. Unfortunately, most of the green fabrics for sale at that time were in the olive family, and she was buying the fabric, so now I have a TON of olive-shaded greens. Ick.
I also have way too much brown; same reason, same person.

I have the most of Christmas fabrics..just LOVE collecting them. Also have tons of fabrics with cherries...as my last name is Cherry. I have lots of colors in dot prints. I have lots of greens and blues as well.
The fabric colors I have the least amount of are: whites, reds, browns and black.

I have a wide variety of colors in my stash. Initially I got lots of focus fabrics but now I'm concentrating on blender fabrics. The current color that I seem to have very few of is pink. Most others I could probably do a single color Bargello without buying more than one or two fabrics. Lol!
