Don't mean to show my ignorance here, but what is the difference between a "charm pack" and a "layer cake" other than $20 in the price in the catalog. What do those terms mean? I haven't done any quilting for many years and this is new to me.

Charm packs are 5 inch squares, the layer cakes are 10 inch squares

Thank you for your explanations. When I took up quilting, there were fat quarters, but we never went to the "bakery".
