Lightbulb Fabrics that Glow in the Dark

Has anyone tried the fabrics that glow in the dark? I just received the Connecting Threads email with their new fabrics and saw the Glow in the Dark fabric category. I wondered how long the glow on the fabrics would last?

I made a quilt for my oldest son about 11 years ago that has some glow in the dark fabrics in it, it still glows- of course its not laundered constantly, only once/twice a year like most quilts, so I don't know how anything laundered a lot would hold up. The glow in the dark thread lasts/works for a long time.

It would be cute for something used around Halloween but I can't see it being permanent.

I made pillow cases for my grandkids and snuck them on their beds. Fun!

the paint lasts a long time. The glow doesn't, up to maybe 10 minutes in a completely darkened room.

I used glow fabric for the moon, and glow thread on the stars, of my Grandson's quilt, and as far as I know, it still glows. The manufacturer said that it would last through 3-4 washings. That was almost two years ago. Don't know how much they wash it.

my pillowcase from about 18 yrs ago is finally wearing off. it was washed normally and still in a fairly good condition. I love GITD fabrics. I need to get some.

I use the glow in the dark fabric for the cuffs of Halloween pillowcases for all the little ones in our family.
