    I remember my granny use to get (I think) flour in cloth sacks that she made quilts out of. YOur material is very nice.

    They look authenic to me...although the green floral in the top of the stack on the left may be a reproduction. It's hard to tell in a picture. They are really beautiful!

    based on your input I looked through closer and found a few with the old twine stitch holes and all of them are closer to canvas weight, definitely heavier grain than quilting cotton.

    There are 92 charm squares (5") so I think I have enough to make a pretty good sized cathedral quilt! I can't wait. It's planned project number 4 so it'll have to wait until later....

    Can't wait to see the Cathedral! I have some feed sacks also, just not sure what to do with them. I'm saving them for that "special" project.
