I've been talking about it for a year.

Yes, I think that you made a wise decision. The Turquoise color will work great in Florida. Do something special for your DH. Sounds like he has been patient with you during this year long ordeal.

Is there someone in Florida that can receive it for you so that it can be shipped directly there versus having to pack it along?

I agree - if you like the machine, it is worth having one in each place.

    Cheers, K

I have a hard time making decisions for my own benefit. If it's for the kids, for the hubby, for relatives, that's different. I am lucky that DH is patient and supportive. On the other hand, I completely support his fishing hobby so it all works out. I didn't obsess about it all year...the pondering was spread out over short intervals.
I wanted to try it out here so didn't ship it to FL. But I have relatives who drive down so they may be able to help me out. DH carried my Featherweight on and may do the same.
Feels good to have this taken care of!

Even though we drive between our two homes and could take things back and forth I have machines in both places. It has taken me a while to get there but I also have a stash, thread and duplicates of sewing goodies in both places. Despite that I often look for some fabric or notion only to realize that it is at the other house.

Not sue I could ever pass up purple, but since it's Florida, turquoise will work out great. Enjoy.

Well, that's a dang purty little machine you're getting! Although as a purple person, I'd be getting that color.

The machine is working out nicely! Some nice additions to this model that the older one doesn't have. Only crazy thing that I don't understand is that the lighting is worse than the old one! You'd think it would be better. Oh well....no regrets. Only regret that I wasted so much time second guessing myself. (I think my hubby has regrets about that too ).
