    Your Dresden is sooo beautiful, I LOVE pastel colors, you did a beautiful job! I will leave the quilting to the experts here!

    Put Dresden Plate quilts in the advanced search box and see what others have done as quilting.

    The one I did I did std around the inner circle, then did curved lines out from the circle to the edge of the block. All my curved lines were in the same direction. I really liked the way it looked when I was done.

    Sorry but I would echo very close to the plate all round each to make them pop. Not in the ditch just on the white with straight lines should go very quickly.

    Extra border. A piano keys in the colours you used for plates with a larger white square after each repeat of colours.

    I was thinking cross hatching behind the plates as well. I too love how it accents the circles.
