I love the idea of hanging it on the garage!

I am going on a tour of barn quilts in Indiana on Thursday. Maybe your quilt will be on the tour.

Gorgeous. I want a barn quilt, too, but I'm going to use differently. I bought a 30x30 fire pit that looks like a table. For summer I want to put a table top on it, and I thought, "why not a barn quilt"? We'll see how far I get on that idea.

Love it. We did something similar, only I painted the doors of the shed. Yours is beautiful, a great compromise with DH.

We have a cottage in Calhoun County IL and there are many barn quilts here. I haven't put one on our cottage yet as we are still working on the inside, but by next year, I'm hoping we will have a beauty like yours. Lovely quilt block.
