I made this quilt after seeing several posted here. It was fast and fun! I also did free motion quilting for the first time. Previously, I had only done stitch in the ditch. I can't tell you how intimidating it was to start. I just decided not only to try, but to NOT rip out the mistakes. This was an "all in" effort!! I'm happy to say it wasn't that bad  I am actually looking forward to doing free motion again.

for my niece-she picked the colors!

I think they are small because of the size they were saved. You may have to go back in and re-save them at a bigger size. They are saved at 96x73 pixels. The picture below shows a photo saved at 600x450. If you right click any picture and choose properties, it will tell you the size that it was saved. If you are using a digital camera, check your camera settings to see if you have the camera saving pictures at the smallest size when you are taking them. Some cameras have this feature so you can take more pictures and use less room in the camera itself. Otherwise, you'll need to check your settings in whatever program you use to save the pictures to your computer.

Thanks, Babeegirl! I actually had a harder time getting the pictures from my camera to the computer, then I had making the darn quilt  I'm going to get a professional to help me with the pictures....my kids
And since you can't see the quilting...it was perfect!

I love the colors and cannot wait to see the quilting. Did you use batiks?

I used a few batiks...mostly any pink & aqua I could find. It's bordered in brown as my neice requested.
