Oh, these turned out so cute! You have to be pleased. I have never hand quilted, don't have the patience for it...so I'd vote for machine quilting.

How pretty those are! I am too green myself to offer any advice, but I just had to congratulate you on your first attempt!

We all start somewhere and we all learn as we sew. You should be proud of your first work -- be sure to make a label with your name and the date. In a couple of years you won't remember when you made your table runners.

they look really good!! Both hand quilting and machine quilting take practice, but straight line machine quilting would go faster. Google will be your friend.

Also be sure to check out tutorials on YouTube. There is so much help there. I'm a visual person myself, and seeing someone actually doing something is very helpful to me.

great first! from here I see no mistake at all... Stand back, you are looking at it with a magnifier!

I learned how to handquilt a small project and this would be a nice size to practice on! Go ahead and make more mistakes as you are the only one who sees them!!! Congratulations.
