I have one of the Fiskar original ones. It cuts fine for me. I remember it took me awhile to get the hang of it but once I did I would cut lots of strips. It works best if it is lower then your regular cutting surface. It's easier to push down the blade with little effort that way. I used it to cut until the Alto came on the market. I will use it every now and then mostly when someone says what is that and points to it hanging on my wall. I haven't tried any of the new ones yet.

I have one...older model....and yes there is a bit of an adjustment, but it does a good job.......but, one just has to be reasonable....don't expect it to cut more than 4/5 layers, keep the pressure steady all the way thru the cutting process,on a level table at the right height....just like using a rotary cutter........not like cutting with scissors....one can do that while sitting on a sofa eating bonbons......
