    I use flannel on the backs of a lot of quilts. Main thing to remember is to prewash because it will shrink a LOT.

    it shrinks and shrinks and then to top it off it stretches, it wears quicker than other fabrics and it pills... not my cup of tea...

    i just finished this rag flannel quilt.. 3 layers of flannel ..

    I do recommend washing in a pillowcase - it was a huge mess of fluff..
