    this might seem like a silly question but is this ok to do? I honestly can't recall ever seeing a baby quilt that was FMQ'd, but I could be wrong. I guess my main concern is about thread coming unraveled at some point or another.
    Is this something to worry about? am I being paranoid? I think I probably am. :shock:

    any fmo quilting will come loose if starts and ends are not firmy secured - no difference in baby or full bed size.

    I've FMQ'd quite a few baby quilts. It'll be fine.

    Quilting whether FMQ or not is quilting. I don't think quilting that has been Free motioned has any more or less chance of unraveling .. providing it's been done properly (ie no eyelashes on the curves).

    All of my baby quilts had at least some FMQ on them.
