Fun day to get back in sewing

I just have to ask: What is the name of your purse pattern? Where can I find this pattern? It is beautiful!
I don't think $45 is too much to ask for it. Does it have pockets inside? I know, I'm full of questions, but that's what happens when you show such a gorgeous purse. Your fabric choices are spot on too.

Congratulations for being back to sewing! The purse and wallet are gorgeous. I love the fabrics you chose. I don't think I'd let them go for less than $60, and then only to a good friend. Did you use fusible batting, and other expensive supplies? Someone I know calculated the price of materials for the Bow Tuck purse as $35. You need to at least double your cost of materials, because you used electricity, and wear and tear on you machine, too, besides your time and quality workmanship.

I love your bag and wallet. I hope your friend enjoys it if you don't change your mind and keep it for yourself. One of these days I'm going to make one for myself. (or make one, period, I've been chicken to try).

Juropat, that's a gorgeous set! Here's what I discovered: people talk and tell others what they paid. So if you want to make and sell more sets, start out with a price high enough that you can make more and be happy doing it. Hope your back continues to let you sew.

I charge $25 for wallets. If there are extra zippers, an extra $5 because they take time to put in.
A bag like that, I'd probably charge $35.
So, for a friend, I offer "friends & family" discounts -- in this case, I'd offer the set for $50. Not less. You need to restock your fabric stash and supplies.
