I did 'Stalker'. Had a lot of fun with the FMQ for the fur. I didn't like the white spot called for in the eye, so I glued a rhinestone for each eye. Looks really good in person!

I think Stalker was my favorite out of all of them so far. Neat idea about using the rhinestones for the eyes. I bet that looks great in purr-son!

Since I have so many different pieces of green fabric, I just might have to get a few more patterns! When the patterns first came out I saw a number of them all done up at a quilt shop. They gave me the idea of all the FMQ. That really seems to bring them to life!

My LQS is featuring these. They have made up kits and sell the patterns. One of the gals who works there has made them all and they have them displayed. I'm not a cat person and I still think they are cute!!

Now I am wondering if this is where you took your quilt board name from, miss Green Cat. I have not tried FMQ yet, but after looking at your fuzzy face guy, I will have to try it. Any tips?
    Thanks, Rita

Rita - the name is just a coincidence. I found an olive green variagated thread at JoAnns when it was on sale. It blended in real nice with the greens. Some of the other stitches were on my machine so I tested some out first for the size. I just tried keeping the FM in the direction of how the fur would go.

I have several of the Garden Patch Cats patterns and have actually done one - Tater Puss. It turned out really, really cute! Quilter's Paradise in Escondido, California, has many of the patterns available both as patterns only or as kits with laser cut pieces. I only bought the patterns - the kits were too rich for my blood! I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the block that I've completed (or with any others I decide to make), but they defiitely work up cute!!!!
