I was just in a antique shop and saw a cute quilt top. It was a half square block and a four patch. It was a two tone red.It looked a lot like a Jacobs Ladder. I really liked the two block idea. I've decided to make it myself.I hope you can picture it. I don't know how to send pictures yet.It was half square, four patch, half square across the row.four patch, half square, four patch second row.and so on.Sorry if your confused. FayZ

I guess the difference is that I either have larger camo squares, or the rectangles throughout the whole quilt. My eyes are crossing at this point. ;) ha ha... I would have enough of the light green to do all the same background and also enough of the darker green to do the same, too. I wasn't sure if the one on the right was TOO dark. The small squares would change in 8 different colors.
BTW, I did the DP9 because I figured it would make larger blocks & I could sew it up faster, PLUS that way I was able to get that center square scattered throughout the quilt.

Well, my son picked out the "camo green" for the main color in his quilt, so once again I had to do another test drive. The darker camo will be the rectangles, and the colors will swap out in the squares.
Thank you all SEW much for all your help! I'll post a pic after vacation when I get it done. :) :)
