Make sure you check out the shipping and handling charges, I used to look at the stuff online and was shocked at how much they charged for shipping.

It is like e-bay, and do make sure to ck. out shipping and handleing. But it is fun to look at. I would not bid to high as after all it is goodwill.

I now predict that Goodwill's website will have a server crash due to all of us searching for sewing related items! LOL

shopgoodwill.com has been around for ages. I've had problems with them in the past. First they decided they didn't like my user name and blocked me. It wasn't anything offensive or bad but the person running the website is over zealous at deleting anything even remotely related to something that might be offensive. I have recieved items that were broken in shipping due to poor packing. You really, really need to know the actual value of the items you're bidding on or you can get stuck with expensive junk.

You have to remember that it is goodwill. It is all stuff that was donated, because it is no longer wanted, or it is broken. So yes you do have to be really careful, and know the value of what you are bidding on. I do not bid to high on anything cause chances are good that it is going to have problems. Then there is the shipping and handling, you have to think about if the item is worth what they charge to ship it. But it is fun to look and see what someone elses junk looks like.
