Went to Tuesday mornings today, actually Tuesday morning! Got a Truecut set with the rotary cutter, ruler and no slip dots all for $24. Has anyone used the Truecut rulers? Do you like them?
Also got my daughter and I the book "Lots of scraps It is Time to Quilt" for $4.99 Lots of nice patterns and ideas

I love getting new quilting books. I spend hours flipping through my books! Enjoy.

I can't believe this. Here it is, almost six months to the day after your post, and I went to a Tuesday Morning that had just opened in my town. And, sure enough, there was the same combo pack that you described for $24.95.

I had been thinking of getting one because I definitely "wander" when I cut. The rotary cutter has an odd safety guard mechanism that feels clunky. I put a little graphite (dry, powdery door lock lubricant) into it and it seems to help a little. I may need to work it in before it works smoothly.

Yes, I have the set. I really like the ergonomic rotary cutter. It helps to cut perfectly straight lines, especially when cutting very small widths.
