I would get a copy of "Egg Money Quilts" by Eleanor Burns. It is a great book with patterns from the 1930's, when women sold eggs to buy fabrics and make quilts. (They also used flour sacks which are now reproduced too.) Enjoy!

Got my October issue of American Patchwork & Quilting today and there's a scrappy quilt in it that might suit you...actually there are several in this issue that would work well, but this is the one I was thinking of. It's called Scrap Happy. The magazine hits the stores on Aug 5th if you don't subscribe. Can also see them online at http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/magazi...ontents_1.html
