Walked into the Bargin Center today, just browsing, saw a sewing machine on shelf. Man came over and I asked him where was the foot pedal & cord. Said it didn't have one and it shouldn't be on the shelf. Manager walked by and he told him same thing, they were going to pull it. I ask what they were going to do with it, they said they were going to throw it away so I asked if they were just going to throw it away would they donate it to our guild and I would look for a foot control and cord, So they did. Now to find a cord, hope it runs, it is a Kenmore Model 385-12912890, looks in good shape all parts move. So looking for cord #033770217 cheap of course if anyone happens to know of one or place that has lots of parts & pieces. Thanks

You should be able to call Sears for that part.

I would have passed it by except that it was free.

I got an original footpedal and power cord from the sewing machine repair guy. It was $12. He is our Bernina dealer and the machine is a Singer

I agree. Take it to a sewing machine dealership. They may have a cord and foot controller that fits.

This one is $20 - check your machine for where the pedal control connects into the machine, and see if the prong looks similar...
