Has anyone ever machine quilted a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt? I'm interested in seeing variations for quilt designs. I have another one to do and am looking for a fresh approach.

I have done several and always use the same thing!
could use a new approach also!
I quilt across the hex from point to point.

Patrice has a tute on this board for machine pieced hexigons. I believe it is on page 5 in the tute section. There is also instruction someplace for half hexies. I'm sure someone might know a site. I think someone here on the board has done the half hexies. I'm sure there will be lots of ideas come up here soon.

My MIL did hand quilting and outline/echo quilted 1/4" inside each hex!
